The Friends of the Monarch Society was formed to preserve and restore the Monarch Theatre while recognizing its historic significance and value to Medicine Hat's city centre.
Monday Night At The Movies brings quality film experiences to Medicine Hat. Proceeds from the films fund special projects for the Medicine Hat Public Library, such as the purchase of special equipment, funding children's and young adults' projects, and purchasing DVDs for the library's collection.
Dinner & A Movie Two city centre restaurants offer a "dinner and a movie" deal: Come to dinner and receive a movie pass for that night's show at the Monarch Theatre.
Twist Wine Bistro and Restaurant offers fine dining and excellent wine. It is open Tuesday through Saturday. It has live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. It has been chosen by the guide, Where to Eat in Canada, as one of Canada's best bistros for the past two years.
Inspire Studio, Gallery, and Café is a place to be inspired.
CJCY is Medicine Hat's radio station for Classic Hits. It often sponsors events at The Monarch. Also, listen to their morning and afternoon drive programs for ticket giveaways.

The City Centre Development Agency is a group of businesses located in centre of the city of Medicine Hat, Alberta. They work together to come up with ideas and events that will draw the population of Medicine Hat to city centre.
